SMS & Text Messaging Notifications

Program name: Frostbyte Digital SMS Notifications. This section describes the data we collect and how we use it when you opt in to receive text messages from Frostbyte Digital or from a business operating the Frostbyte Receptionist platform. These terms apply to all Frostbyte Digital SMS traffic across our products (including Frostbyte Receptionist).

1. How You Opt In

We only send SMS messages to individuals who have provided explicit consent through one of the following methods:

  • (a) Customer-initiated phone contact. When you call a business that uses Frostbyte Receptionist, the AI receptionist verbally discloses during the call that a follow-up text message may be sent to your number for booking confirmations, appointment reminders, or message follow-ups. You must verbally agree before your number is opted in. If the call is missed, the automated text-back reply is a direct response to a conversation you initiated by calling the business, not a marketing solicitation.
  • (b) Website consent form. You may provide explicit written consent by submitting your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our contact form. The checkbox clearly discloses the types of messages you will receive, the frequency, opt-out instructions, and a link to this Privacy Policy.
  • (c) Account signup. Business owners who create a Frostbyte Digital account provide their phone number and SMS consent during onboarding to receive operational notifications about their account.

2. Data We Collect for SMS

  • • Your mobile phone number.
  • • Timestamp and method of your opt-in.
  • • Message history (sent and received) tied to your account or the business you contacted.
  • • Opt-out requests and the time they were processed.

3. How We Use Your Phone Number

We use your phone number solely to deliver the following message types:

  • • Missed-call follow-up replies from the business you called.
  • • Appointment booking confirmations.
  • • Appointment reminders (typically 24 hours before the appointment).
  • • Message-received acknowledgements from the business.
  • • Operational account notifications (for Frostbyte Digital account holders only).

4. Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the business. Typically, customers receive up to 5 messages per appointment transaction and fewer than 15 messages per month per business relationship. Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier; Frostbyte Digital does not charge you for receiving messages.

5. How to Opt Out or Get Help

You may opt out at any time. Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe from all Frostbyte Digital SMS messages. You will receive a final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which no further messages will be sent. We also honor the following opt-out keywords: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT.

For help, reply HELP to any message or email us at support@frostbytedigital.io.

6. Third-Party Sharing — What We Will NOT Do

Frostbyte Digital will not share, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data to any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Your phone number is only shared with our messaging infrastructure provider (Twilio Inc.) strictly to deliver the messages you have opted in to receive. Twilio processes your number under its own privacy practices and does not use it for its own marketing. No other third party receives your opt-in data under any circumstances.

7. Supported Carriers & Eligibility

SMS services are available to recipients in the United States on major participating carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You must be at least 18 years old or have your legal guardian's consent to enroll.

8. Questions About SMS
