Terms of Service
Last updated 19 August 2026 · Northtek, Anchorage, Alaska
These terms cover your use of Operator. They are written plainly on purpose. If something here is unclear, email info@northtek.io and we will answer in the same plain language.
What you are buying
A licence to run the Operator agent on machines you control, and access to the dashboard that pairs with them, for $49 per month per business (or $490 per year). Every feature is included; there are no tiers. Billing starts only after your agent has produced its first verified receipt – until then you pay nothing. Founding subscribers keep the $49 price for as long as their subscription remains active, even after the list price rises. Billing is monthly and you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for.
Operator uses AI models under your own keys and accounts. You are responsible for those vendors’ charges under their terms.
What the agent will and will not do
Operator acts on your behalf, within limits that are built into the software rather than left to configuration. It will not move money, enter payment details, or delete your data. It asks for your approval before anything leaves your business to a recipient you have not already approved. Nothing listens for inbound connections on your machine.
You are responsible for what you instruct it to do. If you approve an email, that email is from you. If you grant it access to an account, it acts with that access.
Honest limits
Operator reports three outcomes: verified, unconfirmed, and failed. Unconfirmed means the agent did the work and could not prove it landed. It is a real and expected outcome, not a malfunction, and it exists because the alternative – reporting success it cannot substantiate – is worse. You should read your activity log.
The agent uses AI models, which make mistakes. Review anything consequential before you approve it. Operator is a tool that works for you, not a replacement for your judgement.
Your account
Keep your password and your pairing codes to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You can revoke any paired device from the dashboard, which removes its ability to act immediately.
Acceptable use
Do not use Operator to send unsolicited bulk messages, to impersonate someone, to break the law, or to violate the terms of any service you connect it to. We may suspend an account being used this way.
Availability
The agent runs on your machine and keeps working on the jobs it already has when the dashboard is unreachable. We do not promise uninterrupted availability of the dashboard, and we do not offer a formal uptime guarantee at this stage. We would rather say that than publish a number we have not yet earned.
Liability
Operator is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending it
You can cancel at any time. We can end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, with notice where it is reasonable to give it. Your activity record stays available for export while your account is open.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, United States.
